Curriculum
Welcome to the Lake Fenton Community Schools Curriculum Site.  We are excited about our new website and the information we are able to provide parents, students, and website visitors.  Please remember our website is still in the developmental stages.  Teachers will be updating their sites and adding information throughout the course of this school year.

CURRICULUM

I am very proud to be a part of the Lake Fenton Community Schools Staff.  As Executive Director, I work with teachers and principals to ensure that we meet the needs of our students, while delivering the instruction and curriculum required by the State of Michigan.  Our Lake Fenton staff has been very successful in this endeavor.  Our students continue to perform at or near the top in the county on state assessments.  We are very proud of our students and staff!

We truly have a wonderful staff and Lake Fenton is a great place for children to learn.  If you have any questions about Lake Fenton Schools, please feel free to contact me.  I can be reached at 591-4141 or by email at jwilliam@lakefentonschools.org

Acronyms Galore

What do all those letters stand for?  In education, we tend to use a large number of acronyms to communicate.  Below is a list of some of those acronyms and what they represent.

Parent Guides to the Common Core State Standards in Math & English Language Arts K-8

If you have been wondering just exactly what are the Common Core State Standards that educators keep talking about, check out the link below in the right hand corner of the page.  There are parent guides available for Math and ELA, for each grade level from Kindergarten through 8th grade.
