Curriculum
Welcome to the Lake Fenton Community Schools Curriculum Site.  We are excited about our new website and the information we are able to provide parents, students, and website visitors.  Please remember our website is still in the developmental stages.  Teachers will be updating their sites and adding information throughout the course of this school year.

CURRICULUM

My name is Julie Williams and I am the Director of Curriculum and Instruction.  I have been working in the field of education for 20 years.  I began my career as a high school secretary, worked as a teacher, Assistant Principal/Athletic Director, High School Principal and now Director of Instruction.  I have been with the Lake Fenton School District since November 1999.  I truly enjoy working with the Lake Fenton staff and community.

Over the course of the past three years the State of Michigan has changed and developed new curriculum at all grade levels.  In fact, they are still working on final documents in some areas.  With the release of this new curriculum our teachers have been working diligently to make adjustments to their current curriculum to make sure they teach all of the Grade Level Content Expectations established by the State.  Curriculum is a continuous work in progress.

Below you will find links to State websites that contain information on the content expectations.  Please visit these sites if you would like to see the requirements at each grade level.
